I ran across this video today, and since it brought me to tears, and awakened me to the idea that being "just one person" and doing "just one thing" can make a huge, positive impact, I thought I should post it here on the Puppy Tracks blog...
Great story. Even though you said it brought you to tears, I wasn't prepared to need a box of Kleenex while watching. :o)
Reminds me of a little guy that got lost in the snow around here a couple years ago. He was hit by a car and someone found him and took him to a local shelter. His medical care was so expensive, so they were asking for donations, as well as for someone to adopt him. The money came pouring in, and I believe he found a home. (I need to find the story to verify that last part.) Just one little thing from so many people saved him.
Oh yes, the little guy I mentioned, was adopted in May 2010. His name is Bubba. Also, someone didn't find him--he actually found his way home after TWO weeks. But his owner had been laid off work and couldn't afford the medical expenses--that's why he put Bubba up for adoption. There are some cute before/after pics here: http://www.sadsac.org/bubba.htm
Wow...I'm sitting here wiping tears off my face. Incredibly powerful video. I have two dogs and two cats, and each is either a rescue or a stray we took in. Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks for sharing Stanley's story, Kerri!
