Great story. Even though you said it brought you to tears, I wasn't prepared to need a box of Kleenex while watching. :o)Reminds me of a little guy that got lost in the snow around here a couple years ago. He was hit by a car and someone found him and took him to a local shelter. His medical care was so expensive, so they were asking for donations, as well as for someone to adopt him. The money came pouring in, and I believe he found a home. (I need to find the story to verify that last part.) Just one little thing from so many people saved him. Thanks for sharing Stanley's story, Kerri!
Oh yes, the little guy I mentioned, was adopted in May 2010. His name is Bubba. Also, someone didn't find him--he actually found his way home after TWO weeks. But his owner had been laid off work and couldn't afford the medical expenses--that's why he put Bubba up for adoption. There are some cute before/after pics here: http://www.sadsac.org/bubba.htm
yay for Bubba! I love stories with happy ending like that!
Wow...I'm sitting here wiping tears off my face. Incredibly powerful video. I have two dogs and two cats, and each is either a rescue or a stray we took in. Thanks for sharing this!
